pROJECT SEEK 2020 - FORMAT INFORMATION
What is Project SEEK?
A twelve day Summer Enrichment Program that runs half days (8:30-12) on weekdays from June 10-25th. Project SEEK is for students from 1st-7th grade, with different class offerings by age group.
This program is designed for gifted and talented students to enhance the regular school-year curriculum. It is a space intended for these students to come together, think, work, and create in courses designed just for them.
Students who are invited to attend Project SEEK are students who demonstrate exemplary behavior, are able to interact independently and be involved in a group setting, enjoy intense study, driven to complete projects, and love a challenge!
Project SEEK features classes designed by instructors for this exciting experience. The activity-oriented classes offer in-depth explorations in a number of interdisciplinary areas. Each class is limited to 15 or fewer students keeping student/teacher ratios low for a more conducive learning experience.
How much is tuition?
Tuition is $275 per student with a cap at $450 per family. If your child qualifies for reduced/free lunch at their school, there is a reduced tuition cost of $95 and $50 respectively.
Costs prohibitive? Contact Sally Welsh at [email protected]
What if I'm not getting any emails?
First step: check your spam/junk mail!
Second step: Check with your child's school to make sure that you have an accurate email listed for 'Parent 1 Email' with your school office and that your child is accurately marked in Synergy as a SEEK student. (In order to check what email you have on file you must call your child's school.)
Project SEEK 2020 Schedule:
June 10th - 25th - 8:30 - noon (12:00)
June 25th - Final Day - 8:30 - noon (12:00)

We are excited to offer summer enrichment via Distance Learning to our Project SEEK students. Many of these courses are self run and DO NOT require parental assistance.
These subject areas are things your child has interest in, and it is not for any type of letter grade! Our teachers have created engaging courses that will excite and stimulate the mind of each student while allowing them to virtually socialize with their peers and receive hands-on teacher instruction.
If you are already registered previously for the program BEFORE the switch to Distance Learning, we need an updated application submitted. (Reach out to Hailey at [email protected] for registration update links)
We know as parents you have many questions. At this time we have more answers coming!
